Extraordinary Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Cultural Property

In addition to providing an opportunity to organize a debate on the implementation of the Convention, the meeting will serve to elect the 18 members of the Subsidiary Committee following a procedure proposed by the States Parties and approved by the 190th session of the Executive Board (three members per regional group, respecting the principles of equitable geographical representation and rotation).
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in the six official languages of the Organization during the Extraordinary Meeting (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish). All working documents for this meeting will be available on the website of the Convention in the relevant languages.
