Mr Abderrahman Ayoub is a researcher, member of the National Heritage Institute of Tunisia (INP), Assistant Director for intangible cultural heritage till 2012. He holds a PhD. in Linguistics and has been conducting research for many years on oral literature, ethnography and arts in Tunisia, and some countries of Maghreb and the Arab world. Ms Deirdre Prins-Solani served as the Director for Heritage Development in Africa from 2009-2012. She has been instrumental in the development of academic programs in Heritage Management, such as the African Program for Museums and Heritage Studies (University of Cape Town, University of Western Cape and Robben Island Museum Program). I was born in May 25th 1980, in Beira, Mozambique, and moved to Brazil with my family to live in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1990, where I lived for many years. In 2004, I was graduated in Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Next year, in 2005, I came back to live in Mozambique working as a teacher in High School institutes and the, at the ARPAC-Instituto de Investigacao Sócio-Cultural, where I am at the present time.

ARPAC is the Government’s organization (Ministry of Culture and Tourism) responsible for the Mozambican Intangible Cultural Heritage, where I worked in a research about Timbila (Masterpiece, 2005) and nowadays, in an Inventory of the country’s Tradicional Dances.

Ayeta Anne Wangusa is the Executive Director of CDEA. She is a creative industries social entrepreneur and a thought leader who advocates for a cultural dimension in public policies and development programmes. She is also Regional Coordinator for Africa for The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA). She is a member of the Arterial Network Cultural Policy Group and in 2014 represented Arterial Network and CDEA to provide input on culture through the Africa Working Group (AWG) response on the post 2015 development Agenda transformative issues.

She is currently an member of UNESCO Expert Facility for the 2005 Convention.
She served as East Africa’s representative on the Commonwealth Civil Society Advisory Committee (CSAC) and advised the Commonwealth Foundation from 2009 -2011.

Min Zhang has served the Ministry of Culture of China since 1989, responsible for bilateral and multilateral cultural programmes. She participated in all the meetings of the Intergovernmental Committee and General Assembly of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage from 2006 to 2012. Detached to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Section of UNESCO from 2010 to 2013, she worked in the capacity-building unit and was involved in the work of designing the training curriculum, organizing a series of training of trainers workshops and the first review meeting of the global capacity-building strategy, designing and implementing concrete capacity-building projects at national level in Asia-Pacific and the Southern African region.
