Indigenous Education
UNESCO provides technical support to the Permanent Forum on Indigenous issues (UNPFII); the Organization presented UNESCO’s work on languages and contributed to the thematic debates on languages at the Expert Group meeting on Indigenous Languages organized by the Forum.
The ongoing cooperation on the Indigenous Fellowship Programme between the Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and UNESCO aims at training indigenous fellows on the Organization’s programmes and activities.
