International conference on "Religions of Kazakhstan and Central Asia on the Great Silk Road"

An international scientific and practical Conference on "Religions of Kazakhstan and Central Asia on the Great Silk Road" will take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 12 June 2017.

The conference is organized by the State Museum "Centre for the Rapprochement of Cultures" in cooperation with the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty and the Ministry for Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will gather leading specialists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan.

This Conference is dedicated to the history of ancient and medieval religions and mythological systems that existed during the formation and functioning of the Great Silk Road.
