Winners of Essay Competition on ESD from Japan Visit UNESCO Jakarta
UNESCO Jakarta welcomed the visit of twelve high school students from Japan, who are the winners of an essay competition on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) organized by the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan (NFUAJ). The students learned about UNESCO's activities in ESD in Indonesia, such as the Green School Initiative. The students also had the opportunity to present their own projects on ESD in the areas of food waste, environment, water and energy for sustainable development.
