CREFAL issues a call for thesis authors on Youth and Adult People Education
Regional Cooperation Center for Adult Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (CREFAL) has issued a call for thesis authors on topics related to Youth and Adult Education (YAE), submitted and approved in 2011, 2012 and 2013, to participate in CREFAL Award for best thesis on Education of Youth and Adults, 2013, in the categories of bachelor, master and doctorate.
The thesis, which must be submitted no later than January 31, 2014, will be evaluated by teams of specialists in the field of YAE committees. His verdict is final and will be made public on May 9, 2014, through the website www.crefal.edu.mx.
CREFAL is an international organization of cooperation in education whose existence dates back to 1950, when it was created at the initiative of UNESCO and the Government of Mexico, with the participation of the Organization of American States (OAS).
The aim of the CREFAL Award is to recognize and stimulate research on issues related to Youth and Adult Education in Latin America and the Caribbean. Thesis submitted and approved between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2013, in public or private institutions of higher education, of any country in Latin America and the Caribbean, written in Spanish or Portuguese may participate. The thesis must have been sustained by the applicants and approved by the appropriate institutional entity.
Awards will be awarded in three categories: bachelor's, master's and doctoral work and represent important contributions to knowledge generation will be favored, the development of innovative approaches, conducting theoretical and methodological contributions or showing relevant findings in implementation of policies, programs and projects in the field of Education Youth and Adult in the countries of the region.
