On November 27th, 2018, the new Bahrain Human Development Report 2018 was launched, a joint effort by the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy (DERASAT), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bahrain. The event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel, and was attended by national Government authorities, diplomatic corps, international organizations, and other partners.
Under the patronage of H.E. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Minister of Labour and Social Development, an event was held celebrating the International Day of Peace at the United Nations building in Hoora.
UNDP partnered with the Social Media Club to host the event under the title “The Role of Social Media in Passing Knowledge”.
