Between now and 2025, 50 students will attend bachelor’s, master’s and technical degrees in agriculture, applied statistics and mining at academic establishments across Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The initiative will support the development and implementation of climate policies and to accelerate climate action in the six countries of the Eastern Partnership - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

In 2017, the Publish What You Fund’s Aid Transparency Index recognized this accomplishment, along with our corporate efforts toward enhancing transparency by ranking UNDP as the second most transparent aid organization in the world, making it the highest rated UN organization.
open.undp.org, UNDP's online portal, allows open, comprehensive public access to data on nearly 4,000 active UNDP projects, and publishes over US$5.3 billion in project data. This includes projects financed by the European Union.
