Overview:

Implemented between 2012 and 2016, this project has aimed at enhancing safeguarding capacities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan through effective implementation of the Convention, thereby contributing to sustainable development. It has promoted better visibility of intangible cultural heritage, awareness of its significance and its function in societies.
