IPDCtalks: Powering Sustainable Development with Access to Information 

In celebration of the second international Day for Universal Access to Information

On 28 September 2017, the International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC) hosted the second whole-day event 'IPDCtalks: Powering Sustainable Development with Access to Information'. The 'IPDCtalks' was held to highlight and elaborate on the importance of Access to Information for all sustainable development efforts around the world. It consisted of a series of attractive and dynamic talks from global public leaders, prominent journalists, young intellectuals and community leaders. While some of the speakers elaborated on the key role of Access to Information for the achievement of a particular Sustainable Development Goal, others reflected on the essential role of Access to Information for our society and future.
