29th Session of the IOC Assembly

The Assembly of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, composed of 148 Member States, establishes IOC-UNESCO's general policy and main lines of work. The IOC Assembly meets once per biennium, while an Executive Council meets every year.

The Assembly is meeting at UNESCO Headquarters for its 29th session in Paris on 21 - 29 June 2017. It was preceded by the 50th session of the IOC Executive Council on 20 June.
