Copernicus Marine Data in Ocean Models and Operational Applications

5 – 9 February 2018 Face to Face: Hamburg, Germany

This is a user training event to be organised by EUMETSAT on behalf of the European Commission as part of the Copernicus Programme, together with its Satellite Application Facility on Ocean and Sea Ice (OSI), the COST Action ES1402 “Evaluation of Ocean Synthesis” and the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany (BSH) plan to deliver a course on the “Copernicus Marine Data in Ocean Models and Operational Applications”

There will be a mandatory online phase from 15 to 26 January 2018, covering important information needed to successfully participate in the face-to-face workshop. The face-to-face workshop, will be hosted by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany (BSH), and will focus on practical exercises for both ocean modellers and users interested in Copernicus data for operational applications. Both groups will have the chance to exchange experiences amongst each other.
