Networks of Mediterranean Youth (2014-2017)
Networks of Mediterranean Youth (NET-MED Youth) is a three-year project (2014-2017) implemented by UNESCO and funded by the European Union (8,8 million Euros). Its main objective is to contribute to the creation of an enabling environment for young women and men to develop their competencies, exercise their rights and duties, and meaningfully engage as active citizens, particularly in decision-making and policy planning.
NET-MED Youth focuses on countries along the eastern and western basins of the Mediterranean Sea and is coordinated by three UNESCO Programme Sectors: Social and Human Sciences, Communication and Information, and Education.
