Niels Lan Doky : the Story of Earth and Water

© Ole Dan Jorgensen
Niels Lan Doky

Unique musical performance inspired by biodiversity.
Using emissions spectroscopy (a system used by geologists to measure mineral content) and other technologies, pianist/composer/producer Niels Lan Doky and his musicians will give a world premiere performance of his work based on sounds extracted from earth samples, microorganisms and water.

Reflecting musical biodiversity, the music will also contain a natural blend of fully integrated musical influences, such as jazz, classical, electronic, pop, soul, r&b, blues and world.
