4th Plenary Session of International Coordination Committee for the Safeguarding of the Cultural Heritage of Iraq

This meeting is held immediately after the International Coordination Committee Sub-committee meeting on Babylon which will approve the final report on damage assessment in Babylon between April 2003 and December 2004.
It deals with the three main following subjects:

- The state and mechanisms of the conservation of the built heritage,
- Museums in Iraq,
- The struggle against looting and illicit traffic of cultural properties.

It also examines national and international projects being implemented for site conservation.
