Молодые девушки в Индии борются за образование: из-за отсутствия средств и понимания об их ежемесячной менструации, в сочетании с социальной стигмы, внесённой в течение нескольких поколений, многие девушки не ходят в школу вообще. Четверть школьниц в Индии покидают школу, когда они достигают половой зрелости.
