International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Heritage Cities

The overall objective of this international conference is to share knowledge, expertise and ideas based on professional experiences in order to work collaboratively to build livable and sustainable cities.

Under the intercontinental cooperative frame of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), the Ministry of Tourism in close cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand and the Australia University of Sunshine Coast (USC), plus the strategic partnership and support of the UNESCO Office in Cambodia and further collaboration with UNWTO, organizes the First International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Heritage Cities which will be held in Siem Reap, home of the World Heritage Site of Angkor, on 13 and 14 June 2017.

A one-day technical tour to the capital city of Battambang Province, that owns some of the best-preserved colonial architecture heritage in Cambodia, will be organized on 12 June.
