Gisèle Dupin is a senior civil servant at the Ministry of Culture, where she works in the field of public policy and international relations.
Since 2008, she’s the national Contact Point of UNESCO in Brazil for the 2005 Convention on the protection and promotion of cultural diversity. In this context, she is often giving classes and moderating conferences, and she has coordinated the elaboration of her country’s first quadrennial periodic report.
She has more than fifteen years’ experience on the local and international level in the field of cultural management. In 1999 she worked for the town council of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where she joined the City’s culture secretariat before joining the city’s international cooperation team.
Gisèle Dupin has joined several commissions tasked with the evaluation of cultural projects.
