The Expert Facility Project is extended until December 2014 thanks to new funding from the European Union. This extension will ensure the sustainability of the technical assistance missions undertaken in 13 developing countries, experience sharing and the capitalization of lessons learned. Follow-up in country missions will take place in Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Niger and Viet Nam. Remote follow-up is expected to be provided for the other 9 countries.

Following promising results, the project is extended until 30 November 2013 to allow for follow-up activities to the 13 technical assistance missions in developing countries
The missions have produced a wide range of results in all the beneficiary countries: Argentina (Buenos Aires), Barbados, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Niger, Seychelles and Viet Nam.
