Since its creation in 1948, the UNESCO Courier has changed a great deal, both in content and form, but it continues to pursue its original mission: to promote UNESCO’s ideals, maintain a platform for the dialogue between cultures and provide a forum for international debate.
Published quarterly since 2017, the Courier serves readers around the world in the six official languages of the Organization — Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish — as well as in Esperanto and Portuguese. Published online and in a PDF format, a limited number of printed copies are also produced.
The Digital Courier, available in English and French, provides additional information, by offering a selection of articles and interviews on current events.
