Download Messenger!

It's fast and simple and VERY easy to use. I highly suggest Messenger! It is very useful. You can open the app while doing different things. The only thing you can not do is video call.

Add quick reply to notifications and instant games

And maybe speed it up by using actual UWP. Doesn't need to be this slow. Quick replies are a must because I don't really even need to have the app installed otherwise. Add instant games too! They show up in conversations but just aren't supported.

Review title of GrantCovers basic Messenger features, but not reliable.

The Messenger app for Windows 10 looks nice and seems well designed, but unfortunately it stops providing notifications altogether or delays them for long periods of time. It has recently developed a bug where it will automatically close your webcam in voice chat if you click on any apps or windows other than the Messenger app, which is infuriating.

Review title of JasonLove it!

I love the way Messenger works. The only issues I really have is that the app is a power hog (Power usage in Task Manager is always "Very high"), and message requests are not always shown right away. Had one there for a week, before I got the notification badge... Other than that, it's a great app! One suggestion I could add is to integrate facebook's instant games into this app. It's available on the mobile, and website versions, why not here?

Review title of GuyUnusable

I couldn't log in. First I was able to type my email, but then the password field was not selectable. Then I killed the app, re-started and the second time it wouldn't allow me to type in the name field. I am uninstalling both Messenger and the Facebook app. Neither really gives me anything I can't already get on the web page.

Worked fine for years, but now takes a full minute to open, and is super laggy. Tried reinstalling, but it didn't make a difference. Surface Pro 3 Facebook, give us a native app!

Review title of HarrisonDoes not play nice with two-step authentication

Until a month ago, I used this app without issue. Then I was signed out and I've since been unable to sign into my Facebook account. When trying to enter the SMS code sent to my device, it says incorrect code. Issue persists with resent code and after reinstalling the app. When it works the app is fine, but it's useless without the ability to sign in with two-step.

Review title of NidoSlow and problems with typing, can't log in

It's really show. Not push the notifications while someone send it. And not really sync at the same time. But the real problems is I can't type my language (Vietnamese) ==" please fix it! and can't log in if you are using 2 layer passcode!
