Richard Connor, rédacteur en chef du Rapport mondial des Nations Unies sur la mise en valeur des ressources en eau 2017 intitulé « Les eaux usées, une ressource inexploitée », partage les conclusions du rapport.
Et si l’on cessait de considérer les eaux usées, qu’elles soient domestiques, industrielles ou agricoles, comme un problème ou un coût et qu’on les envisage comme une ressource ? C’est à ce changement d’optique qu’invite ce rapport mondial. Face à la hausse constante de la demande, un recours plus systématique à une eau recyclée paraît inéluctable.
