2. Justification de présélection
Quelles sont les raisons principales qui ont motivé la présélection de ce projet en comparaison avec d’autres propositions reçues par la Commission nationale pour l’UNESCO ?: 
The projects is unique and has an innovative approach to assembling the majority of the participants active in the cultural scene in Macedonia and three other eligible countries (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro). Creating CultuReg will be of great importance for creating national policies in the future, as it is already explained in the project. There is a fast growing alternative scene that has a great potential for socio-economic improvement, however not belonging to an entity or established group imposes serious limitations that could eventually put individuals or various forms of collectives in the idle stage or push them out of the market. Moreover, a database which includes individuals and groups which work with new forms of artistic expression that are not traditionally classified as ‘art’ will open new possibilities for the local market.
3. L'institution/organisation demandeuse
Quels éléments montrent que l’institution/organisation demandeuse est une partie prenante importante du secteur de la culture (aux niveaux local / national / international) ?: 
Having a proved experience of four years organization of one of the biggest art fairs in Macedonia, the International Fair of Contemporary Art Paratissima Skopje, with significant numbers of national and international participants, Contineo 2020 is an already established stakeholder in the cultural scene with whom the Ministry of Culture has very positive cooperation in the last several years and has provided (financial) support. The organization has a vast network of collaborators from different direct and indirect subjects active in the cultural and artistic sector and has been recognized as one of the key stakeholders who are contributing to the shaping of the national scene, being referred to for expertise by new and ongoing initiatives present in the country.
4. Pertinence de la proposition de projet présélectionnée
4.1. Quels sont actuellement les principaux besoins et priorités de votre pays en termes de politiques culturelles et/ou d’industries culturelles ?: 
The cultural policies and cultural industries in Macedonia have a great potential however, they need systematizing and clustering in order for the potential to surface and develop. Among the priorities in Macedonia, related to the cultural policies and cultural industries, is the need to clarify the status of the participants and be able to access their past, current and future projects in order to better understand the level of development of these individuals and/or organizations. Other priorities include the need to facilitate access to funding sources, diversification of the contents available in the representative institutions (galleries, museums, etc) and stimulate the ‘supply and demand’ exchange among the audience and the artists. These priorities are apparent if we consider the Ministry of Culture’s choice of funded initiatives which fall under the category ‘projects national interest’ organized by other entities which are not public/national institutions but are managed by the civil society sector.
4.2. De quelle manière les objectifs de cette proposition de projet présélectionnée répondent-ils aux besoins et aux priorités actuelles du pays en termes de politiques et/ou d’industries culturelles ?: 
The national institutions are already in the process of formulating strategies for the cultural industries and establishing the national cultural policies; throughout this process they have recognized the necessity to establish close collaboration with the civil society sector, considering it as one of their crucial ally in the mapping of new and diverse formats of cultural engagement. In this sense CultuReg is a welcomed initiative which shares common goals among all partaking entities in the country, especially considering its open source format and accessibility. The benefit of the projects’ objectives is common because the CultuReg will initiate its process based on the information available and published by the public institutions and will complement it with additional and more extensive data regarding participants from traditional and alternative cultural and artistic industries, which in return the public institutions will use for improving their current and future policies.
4.3. Dans quelle mesure pensez-vous que cette proposition de projet présélectionnée aura un impact sur les politiques et/ou industries culturelles du pays ?: 
This initiative is the first of its kind coming from the civil sector and engaging with the cultural industries and policies; therefore our evaluation is that according to the formulation of the project and the partnerships and regional development noted, the applicant has an accurate perception of the sectors’ necessities and a clear vision of what data will contribute to fruitful developments of the national strategies and policies related to culture and the creative industries.
5. Faisabilité de la proposition de projet présélectionnée
5.1. Quels éléments démontrent la capacité organisationnelle du demandeur et sa compétence pour mettre en œuvre le plan de travail et gérer le budget ?: 
As already mentioned, Contineo 2020 team has proven track of active participation in the field of cultural and art industries. They are successfully organizing the International Fair of Contemporary Art Paratissima Skopje, and are already an established brand that is recognized by the other participants in the field of culture. In particular, they are invited to similar events to give public speeches and testimonials about their experience of reaching out to mass public, engaging new audiences and creating new and innovative environments for the prosperity and merging of emerging and established actors on the market. Their approach to collaborations which includes the involvement of all stakeholders public, private and individual is a system which speaks for their capacity and experience in generating results. At the same time, they have already implemented a self-evaluation which has led them to understand the need for additional research and methodology capacities, so they have established cooperation with a research think-tank organization that can give full support in all the stages of the project, so that the CultuReg will satisfy practitioners as well as analyst and policy needs.
5.2. Quels types de procédures ont été prévus par le demandeur pour assurer la responsabilité financière ?: 
We have evaluated the budget; all the units in it are related to the execution of the project. Contracting expenses related to IT and marketing agency are accurate. The plan for regular external auditing is also in place.
