Ratification by Ethiopia of the Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property (Paris, 14 November 1970)

On 22 November 2017, Ethiopia deposited with the Director-General its instrument of ratification of the Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property.

In accordance with the terms of Article 21, the Convention will enter into force with respect to Ethiopia three months after the deposit of the instrument of ratification, that is to say on 22 February 2018.
