For Developing Countries

How Can We Help?

This section is addressed to scientists, students, librarians and information specialists who live and work in least developed or low-income countries, or, like us, aim at the advancement of science in the most disadvantaged parts of the world.

Shared Experience

Relying on our decades-long experience in sustaining research, we invite you to contact us about access to knowledge in the developing countries, either to seek advice or suggest your personal solutions, or simply to compare our approaches. We believe we can learn a lot from each other.

Collection Development

Choosing the best textbooks to build a scientific library is no easy task. The selection, made by our faculty, of textbooks on reference for the Postgraduate Diploma Courses may be a starting point. You can check the lists of new acquisitions that we produce weekly for a comparison with your choices. Moreover, through us you can connect with the subject specialists that collaborate with our library, for recommendations within the range of their competence.

Book Donation Programme

The Marie Curie Library helps libraries in Developing Countries through the donation of scientific books.

eJournals Delivery Service

Service providing scientists in least developed countries with current scientific literature.

Special Initiatives for Developing Countries
