Joint ICTP/Collegio Carlo Alberto

A one- to two-year programme leading to a Master of Arts degree

The joint UNESCO-ICTP/Collegio Carlo Alberto Program in Economics is sponsored by ICTP and hosted at the Collegio Carlo Alberto.

Depending on their background, candidates can either apply to the Allievi Honors Program or to the Master's in Economics Program (see below).

Allievi Honors Program
The Allievi Honors Program is a two-year program designed for students who enroll at the University of Torino or Politecnico of Torino. The program aims at enhancing the students' education in economics and statistics to help them succeed in their future academic or professional careers.

Upon successful completion of the program, the Allievi are awarded the Laurea Magistrale degree from the University of Torino or the Politecnico of Torino, and the Master of Arts degree in Economics from the Collegio Carlo Alberto.

  • Eligibility: Potential candidates must be undergraduate and graduate students with solid background in mathematics, physics or related disciplines.
  • Financial aid: A number of scholarships are awarded to candidates based on merit. Some fellowships are available for scientists from developing countries.
  • Deadline for applications: passed.

Master's Program in Economics
The Master's Program in Economics is a one year program which aims at endowing its students with advanced training in modern economic theory and methods.

Upon successful completion of the program, the student is awarded the Master of Arts degree in Economics from the Collegio Carlo Alberto.

  • Eligibility: Potential candidates must be students with a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics or related disciplines.
  • Financial aid: A number of scholarships are awarded to candidates based on merit. Some fellowships are available for scientists from developing countries.
  • Deadline for applications: passed.
