Computing & IT Services

How to get connected during your stay at ICTP

The Information and Communication Technology Section (ICTS) provides informatic services for the ICTP community (scientific and administrative) and for the scientific activities of ICTP.

Here is the link to login to ICTP's Webmail.

Visit the ICTS web page with important pre-arrival information for ICTP visitors.

In addition, it handles the general IT infrastructure (network and on-line services). Most of the computers used by the scientists are PCs. They have both Windows and Linux installed and can be found throughout the ICTP campus.

The computing resources provided include internet access and other services. ICTP provides a network infrastructure for the ICTP website, and allocates computing resources to users in the form of accounts - Webmail for staff and visiting scientists - and network connections. Visitors may bring their own equipment and connect to the ICTP network.

Security measures are implemented for ICTP as a whole and possibly for each service, and are coordinated through the ICTP computer section.

ICTS is located on the first floor of the Enrico Fermi Building.

The postal address is ICTP, Information and Communication Technology Section, via Beirut, 6, I-34151 Trieste (Italy).
