The Federal University of Technology - Paraná is a public institution owned by the federal government. It has 13 campuses located in the south of Brazil spread throughout the State of Paraná.
The University offers over 117 undergraduate courses, 36 graduate programs (6 doctorate and 30 masters programs) as well as an expressive number of research groups. Our University has around 2.300 professors, 1.000 administrative staff and 30.000 students.
The courses concentrate on the engineering areas: Mechanical, Civil Construction, Electronics, Computer Science, Food, Textile among others, although they also offer Teacher Education courses for Math, Physics, Chemistry and Languages Education.
UTFPR is the only University of Technology in Brazil and the largest one offering Engineering Programs. UTFPR acts in the business sector through the development of applied research and entrepreneurial culture, as well as in local and regional communities through social activities.
