    The NCHADS’ Strategic Plan for HIV/AIDS and STI Prevention and Care 2008-2010 is based upon a series of goals and objectives, and the core operational strategies by which these objectives will be met; and is structured around ten programme elements under which activities are planned and budgeted in NCHADS and provinces. For each programme area there are also a set of output and outcome indicators, for which targets for the Plan are set, and by which NCHADS will monitor and assess progress in the implementation of the plan; this is described in the final section of the Plan.

  6. Assessment of drug demand and harm reduction services in Cambodia: A service mapping and needs assessment

    This report presents the findings of a survey conducted between April and July 2008 by the Drug Information Centre of the Secretariat-General of the National Authority for Combating Drugs, Cambodia. The survey aims to assess coverage, types of services available, and gaps in service provision-especially related to the prevention, treatment and care of HIV and AIDS amongst drug users. It also evaluates the quality of education related to drug use and HIV prevention and documents technical and training needs of the assessed organizations.

    Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) survey was conducted in Chhlong Operational District of Kratie province, Cambodia to find out KAP of women of reproductive age (15-45) with regard to reproduction and pregnancy, contraceptive knowledge and use, fertility preferences, STDs and AIDS, and abortion. Information from the survey served as a baseline for the Northeast Cambodia Reproductive Health Program.
