The purpose of this Women's Workshop Curriculum is to support a truly sustainable HIV response in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region, centered on positive leadership, women's leadership, prevention, education, and mentorship, as well as gender equity and sensitivity. The purpose of this toolkit is to make both published and unpublished information more accessible to a wider audience, and so to contribute to global efforts to develop and scale up effective HIV interventions in sex work settings. This book explores the current situation with regard to HIV and AIDS in four teacher training institutions in Ethiopia. It aims to analyze their responses to the pandemic and the measures taken to mitigate its impact. Despite the fact that the ministry of education has put in place a nation-wide information system, with the technical assistance of UNESCO, from the federal to the school level, there are no records kept, including impact and response.
