    This assessment has been conducted to provide an overview of the education sector's response to the current HIV epidemic in Indonesia, and to offer a set of recommendations meant to complement and strengthen the response.   4. Assessment of drug demand and harm reduction services in Cambodia: A service mapping and needs assessment

    This report presents the findings of a survey conducted between April and July 2008 by the Drug Information Centre of the Secretariat-General of the National Authority for Combating Drugs, Cambodia. The survey aims to assess coverage, types of services available, and gaps in service provision-especially related to the prevention, treatment and care of HIV and AIDS amongst drug users. It also evaluates the quality of education related to drug use and HIV prevention and documents technical and training needs of the assessed organizations.

  11. Evaluation of preventive actions against STDs/AIDS and drug abuse in elementary and high schools in Brazilian capitals

    This document presents an evaluation of the process, results and impact of the initiative to promote health and prevent sexually transmitted diseases among adolescents and youth in the school environment (in Brazilian schools), on the basis of research carried out in 340 schools in 14 state capitals. Students, teachers, principals and parents were included in the survey.     Another way to learn is a UNESCO initiative that supports Non-Formal Education projects working around the world in Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America.
