The Network of Foundations and research Institutions for the promotion of a culture of peace met for the third time

On 12 September 2015, the Network of Foundations and research Institutions for the promotion of a culture of peace in Africa held in Soyo (Angola) its third meeting since its creation in September 2013.

The President of the Network and Director of the Eduardo dos Santos Foundation, Mr Pereira Joao de Deus, opened the meeting on behalf of the President of the Foundation Mr Ismael Diogo da Silva.

Mr Jean-Noël Loucou, Executive Secretary of the Network including eleven members was represented, outlined the objectives of the meeting: to make the state of network locations since its inception; define the legal and budgetary aspects, and start the action plan for the coming year.

After a focus on legal issues concerning the status of the network, several projects, including the enhancement of endogenous mechanisms for prevention and conflict resolution, on the Community of good practices and the Pan-African competitions of mediation in school environments and university, were presented to the participants.
