Adwa Pan African University (APAU) First International Conference in Ethiopia

Getachew Engida, Deputy Director General of UNESCO, participated to the first international conference of Adwa Pan-African University (APAU) under the theme:  “Institutionalization of pan-Africanism” on April 23rd 2018 in Adwa, Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia.

Four plenary sessions were held during the meeting, with themes such as Educational leadership, Cultural and Spiritual Leadership, Building Pan-African traditions, and Pan-Africanism as field of studies.

 The main objective of the conference is to bring together efforts of concerned individuals, organizations, and countries to realize Adwa Pan-African University’s vision, according to the committee.
