    Analysing the extent and severity of HIV/AIDS among educators without looking at the broader context within which schools operate, provides only a partial understanding of the immense challenges facing the education sector in South Africa. This study examines material issues affecting the quality of teaching and learning in our schools, both within and external to the classroom environment.   6. Etude sur la manifestation et l'ampleur du VIH/SIDA chez les enseignants et son impact sur l'offre et la demande en éducation

    Le SNEA-B et le SNESS, dans le cadre de leur projet commun, Education Pour Tous ( EPT) et lutte contre le SIDA et les IST à l'école ont diligenté cette étude qui se fixe pour principaux objectifs de : faire la situation de la séroprévalence chez les enseignants ; évaluer à l'échelle du pays, la manifestation de la pandémie en milieu enseignant ; apprécier l'impact du VIH/SIDA sur l'offre et la demande d'éducation ; proposer des stratégies et des actions concrètes pour permettre aux deux syndicats de planifier des interventions pertinentes.

    This report presents results from a cross-sectional study that was conducted in the three Nigerian states of Kano, Lagos, and Nasarawa to assess educators' views on the impact of HIV/AIDS on primary education.
