  1. Kenya national HIV and AIDS communication strategy for youth, 2007

This Communication Strategy provides a broad framework that will guide communication on youth and HIV and AIDS in Kenya for the next three years. It intends to address needs and gaps in communication programming identified in the areas of knowledge, skills and self-efficacy, capacity, coordination, policy support and utilisation of services. These issues were identified through a situation analysis conducted at the beginning of developing this strategy, and from consultations with stakeholders implementing HIV and AIDS programmes among the youth.

  2. Gender, reproductive health, and advocacy: a trainer's manual

A two-week, 15 session curriculum that uses participatory methodologies to equip NGOs to implement reproductive health programmes and strategies. The workshop familiarizes participants with the ICPD Programme of Action and framework of reproductive health, helps participants identify how their organizations' programmes fit within this broadened reproductive health framework, and assists participants to develop strategies and action plans for expanding and integrating organizational activities in the area of gender, reproductive health and/or advocacy.
