Documentary Heritage of Colonial Brazil is the theme of a Seminar at the National Library

Handwriteen documents about the Colonial Brazil are dispersed in several countries of the World.

The Project Rescue Barão do Rio Branco, a 25-year-old partnership with the National Library and UNESCO in Brazil, has searched these documents in more than 500 institutions in nine countries. On 25 and 26 April, 2018, the International Seminar Paths of Rescue: global signs of Brazilian cultural memory  took place at the National Library in Rio de Janeiro, with the goal of constructing a wide debate on the achieved results of the Project and its possible future actions, such as a conceptual and a methodological review.
