The Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF) and its Working Group on Supporting and Highlighting Victims of Terrorism launched June 2014 the United Nations Victims of Terrorism Support Portal.
By being a practical mechanism, the Portal facilitates access to resources by victims, their families and communities – be it psychosocial support, understanding how to access national criminal justice systems or rehabilitation opportunities offered by Member States. The Portal also demonstrates the international community’s solidarity with victims.
