35th session of the World Heritage Committee
During the World Heritage meeting, the Committee will examine sites nominated for inscription on the World Heritage List. It will monitor the state of conservation of properties inscribed on the List, and also decide which properties should be added to or removed from the List of World Heritage in Danger.
Updating World Heritage List :

- Ogasawara Islands (Japan)
The new cultural sites are :
- West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou (China)
- Saloum Delta (Senegal)
- Hiraizumi – Temples, Gardens and Archaeological Sites Representing the Buddhist Pure Land (Japan)
- Archaeological Sites of the Island of Meroe (Sudan)
- The Longobards in Italy, Places of Power, 568 – 774 A.D. (Italy)
- Fagus Factory in Alfeld (Germany)
- Konso Cultural Landscape (Ethiopia)
- Fort Jesus, Mombasa (Kenya)
- Ancient villages of Northern Syria (Syrian Arab Republic)
- The Persian Garden (Iran)
- Pile Dwellings around the Alps (Switzerland, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia)
- Selimiye Mosque and its Social Complex (Turkey)
- The Causses and the Cévennes, Mediterranean Agro-pastoral Cultural Landscape (France)
The new mixed site is :
- Wadi Rum Protected Area (Jordan)
The World Heritage site that has been extended is:
- Ancient Beech Forests of Germany - (Germany)
