Mr Richenel Ansano is an anthropologist and Director of NAAM, the National Archaeological and Anthropological Memory Management institute in Curaçao. NAAM is an NGO accredited by the 2003 Convention that has the mandate for implementation of the Convention in Curaçao. He is a member of the ICH network committee of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies and Secretary of the mechanism of collaboration on ICH among the Dutch Caribbean islands. Mr Abderrahman Ayoub is a researcher, member of the National Heritage Institute of Tunisia (INP), Assistant Director for intangible cultural heritage till 2012. He holds a PhD. in Linguistics and has been conducting research for many years on oral literature, ethnography and arts in Tunisia, and some countries of Maghreb and the Arab world. In 2009 he moderates training workshops in Sharja (United Arab Emirates) and Amman (Jordan) on the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Ms Meri Kumbe is a musicologist and lecturer at the Department of Musicology at the University of Arts of Tirana. From 2014 to 2016, she was the director of the National Center of Folklore Activities, Ministry of Culture of Albania. Her work fcused on the organization of Folkloric Festivals and notably on the awareness raising around ICH issues, as well as the inventory of the ICH and safeguarding. Jorijn Neyrinck coordinates the organization of the Workshop intangible heritage Flanders, (Werkplaats Immaterieel Erfgoed), working actively in the field of intangible cultural heritage in Flanders. The predecessor of this organization is better known as the NGO tapis plein -- a centre of expertise on intangible cultural her-itage (ICH) and heritage participation (BE), which has developed a series of activities since 2003. Its main focus and achievements consist of developing participatory intangible heritage practices and policies in societal con¬text. Werkplaats Immaterieel Erfgoed takes an active role as a cultural broker in the field: building bridges between governments, NGOs, institutions, ICH communities and groups. To this end, Jorijn organizes a range of initiatives: from capacity building, policy support, the digital ICH plat¬form, project management and coaching, sensitization, platforms for public dialogue, education, action research, methodological tools, conceptual reflection, publications etc. In recent years, tapis plein has cultivat¬ed ICH network development, collaborating with many actors (e.g. organizations on crafts, performing arts, local heritage units, the Flemish Government, FARO-Flemish Interface for cultural heritage, etc). Jorijn takes an active role in cross disciplinary and international networks on ICH, especially in relation to the UNESCO 2003 Con¬vention, the ICH NGO Forum and the relation between NGOs and the Convention. Jorijn is a member of the Flemish UNESCO Commission and advisory bodies in cultural policies. Selected assignments include: member Flemish UNESCO Commission (2014-present), Commission Dutch Inventory ICH (2012- present), Flemish Commission ICH (2008- present), Strategic Advisory Board Culture Flanders (2012- present).

Tamara Nikolić Đerić (1983) holds degrees in ethnology/cultural anthropology and indology/oriental studies. Since 2008, she has been working as curator for the Ethnographic Museum of Istria. Along with other museum activities she started and still runs the first Ethnographic film festival in Croatia, ETNOFILm, dedicated to visual documentation and interpretation of ICH. Since 2014, Nikolić Đerić collaborates as professional program manager and from 2017 as President of Ecomuseum Batana (UNESCO Register of Good safeguarding practices, 2016). She founded the association FARO11, dedicated to the promotion of creative industries and community-based cultural management.

She is PhD candidate at the Department for Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Zagreb, researching topics on working women. Her work is entitled ‘Women and industry: Intersectional analysis of the role and position of Rovinj industrial women workers.’ She has authored several scientific and professional articles and exhibitions. I was born in May 25th 1980, in Beira, Mozambique, and moved to Brazil with my family to live in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1990, where I lived for many years. In 2004, I was graduated in Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Next year, in 2005, I came back to live in Mozambique working as a teacher in High School institutes and the, at the ARPAC-Instituto de Investigacao Sócio-Cultural, where I am at the present time.

Ayeta Anne Wangusa is the Executive Director of CDEA. She is a creative industries social entrepreneur and a thought leader who advocates for a cultural dimension in public policies and development programmes. She is also Regional Coordinator for Africa for The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA). She is a member of the Arterial Network Cultural Policy Group and in 2014 represented Arterial Network and CDEA to provide input on culture through the Africa Working Group (AWG) response on the post 2015 development Agenda transformative issues.
