The 2018 Global Report “Re|Shaping Cultural Policies” assesses the impact of the most recent policies and measures taken around the world to implement the UNESCO 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.

Specifically, it tracks progress on the following four main goals related to the Convention: supporting sustainable systems of governance for culture; achieving a balanced flow of cultural goods and services; integrating culture in sustainable development frameworks; promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms.

In this series of videos, the authors of the Report present the key successes and challenges around each Convention Goal as well as the key findings of their corresponding chapters

Khadija El Bennaoui, Independent cultural advisor, Art Moves Africa (AMA)
