Studies: He graduated in Social and Legal Sciences in 1997 and in Law in 2003 from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras. He is a graduate with a master's degree in Politic Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá, Colombia, in 2000. He also completed his academic background with diverse university courses in Law and national defense issues. He is Notary since 2012.

Professional career: Public Attorney from 2000 to May 2015 when he was named to the post of Ambassador to UNESCO.
