Accession by Djibouti to the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict, its First Protocol (The Hague, 14 May 1954) and its Second Protocol (The Hague, 26 March 1999)On 9 April 2018, Djibouti deposited with the Director-General its instrument of accession to the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and its two Protocols. In accordance with the terms of Article 33(2) of the Convention, Article 10(b) of its First Protocol and Article 43(2), the Convention and its two Protocols will enter into force with respect to Djibouti three months after the deposit of these instruments, that is to say on 9 July 2018.
