UNESCO participates in the Global South-South Development Expo
The 2018 Global South-South Development Expo will be held at the UN in New York from 28-30 November, with the overarching theme of “Showcasing Institutions Supporting South-South Cooperation in preparation for the Second High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation (BAPA + 40).” During the Expo, UNESCO will showcase its work to promote South-South and Triangular Cooperation, including with private sector partners. http://www.expo.unsouthsouth.org/2018-new-york/
During the South-South Cooperation Expo (28-30 November at the UN in New York), UNESCO will launch its dedicated publication on South-South and Triangular Cooperation during a special event with the Special Envoy for South-South Cooperation and Director of the UN Office for South-South Cooperation, Jorge Chediek, on 28 November from 13:10 to 14:00 in Conference Room E, United Nations Headquarters at the UN in New York. UNESCO will also participate in the High-level Panel and Thematic Solution Forum on Promoting Youth Entrepreneurship for SDGs on 28 November from 15:20-16:40am, where it will showcase its private sector partnership with Artiel Gabon on "Train my Generation 5000." It will also showcase its Flagship Initiative to Revive the Spirit of Mosul during the Thematic Solution Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation in Sustaining Peace and Promoting Inclusive Development, scheduled from 9-10:00am on 29 November.
