The Central American Conference on the Safety of Women Journalists is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges facing women journalists and the importance of putting greater focus on the mental well-being of and psycological support for journalists in the region. During the event, the Central American Council on the Safety of Journalists will be launched. This Council is a platform which promotes cooperation and dialogue among key stakeholders including governments, associations of journalists and other members of civil society.
