“Science as common good of humankind” – 10th International Forum of NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO

26-27 November 2018, Moscow, Russian Federation

Organized by the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee in cooperation with the UNESCO Secretariat, the Tenth International Forum of NGOs in Official Partnership with UNESCO will be held in Moscow, Russian Federation, on 26 and 27 November 2018.

As organized in accordance with the Directives concerning UNESCO’s partnership with non-governmental organizations (36 C/Res. 108), this Forum will address the theme of “Science as a common good of humankind” and will be structured around two pillars: “Science in our minds” and “Science for our times”, examining such current issues as academic freedom, the contribution of sciences to peace, the role of women in science and the evolution of artificial intelligence, inter alia.

This Forum will gather NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO, but is also open to the participation of other institutions and representatives of Member States, subject to prior registration on the website of the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee (www.ong-unesco.org).
