Presentation of Trophies of Biosphere Reserves 2018

The presentation of the trophies to the Biosphere Reserves in France will be held in Fontenoy building, in room IX from 10 am to 1 pm on 30 November 2018.
For the fifth year in a row, the winners of the Biosphere Reserve trophies will be welcomed at UNESCO. These awards recognize original initiatives in the field of sustainable development, led by biosphere reserve actors, as part of a competition. They encourage their commitment to the sustainable management of natural resources, biodiversity, the fight against climate change and, more generally, sustainable development. This year, there are 10 French Biosphere Reserves: Audomarois Marsh, Cevennes, Dordogne Basin, Fontainebleau & Gâtinais, Gorges du Gardon, Guadeloupe Archipelago, Islands and Iroise Sea, Luberon Lure, Mount Viso and Mount Ventoux, which have organized trophies on their territory.
