Information meeting on Lake Chad

On the occasion of the visit of Mr Suleiman Adamu, Federal Minister of Water Resources of Nigeria, to UNESCO Headquarters, on 18 April 2018, the Africa Department and the Permanent Delegation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to UNESCO organize an information meeting with representatives of the Africa Group, Programme Sectors, and other UNESCO Member States.
The purpose of the meeting will be the restitution of the work of the international conference entitled "Saving the Lake Chad to revitalize the Basin’s ecosystem for sustainable development, security and development", held in Abuja from 26 to 28 February 2018, in which five heads of state of the sub-region participated.
