Busan organizes and hosts the 2018 edition of two film events in cooperation with the Creative Cities of Film Santos and Bitola
Busan, in Korea, organizes and host the 2018 Busan Residency Film Production Project and the UNESCO Busan Inter-City Film Festival, in cooperation with the Creative Cities of Film Santos and Bitola.
The Busan Independent Film Association (BIFA) has inaugurated a new film event composed of two main initiatives: the Residency Film Production Project and the UNESCO Busan Inter-City Film Festival. This year, the directors Dandi Queiroz ( from Santos, Brazil), Sasha Stanishik (from Bitola, Macedonia) and LEE Gi-nam (Busan) will participate in Busan Residency Film Production Project presenting their recent works and producing together three short films.
In addition, the UNESCO Busan Inter-City Film Festival, which has been created to commemorate the designation of Busan as a UNESCO Creative City of Film, will screen films from other UCCN cities of Film, including Łódź and Yamagata. The event, open to all UCCN Creative cities of Film aims to facilitate creative exchanges between the members of the Network .
The two events will expect approximately 1,000 people and represent a great opportunity to show off the cooperation and solidarity among UNESCO Creative Cities.
