Financial Disclosure Programme

Part of the mandate of the Ethics Office is to establish and manage a Declaration of interest and Financial Disclosure Programme (FDP). The purpose of the FDP is to reduce the risk of conflicts of interest arising from the financial holdings or outside activities of UNESCO staff members who are in a position of authority, or hold specific positions which entail financial decision-making responsibilities, or who work in the Ethics Office.

While the Director-General and the Ethics Office have complete confidence in the integrity of UNESCO staff, it is important to promote transparency at UNESCO.
