Ethics trainings

The Ethics Office provided regular trainings to staff at Headquarters and in the Field Offices. Several trainings have been created by the Ethics Office to respond to the needs of the personnel of UNESCO.

The Introduction to Ethics Training is a mandatory training delivered to all personnel of UNESCO, regardless of their contractual status. Consultants and interns are also required to attend this training. At Headquarters, these trainings take place approximately every 2 to 3 months to train the new employees of the Organization.

As the key to engraining an ethical culture in an organization is to ensure that the ‘tone at the top’ is right, the Ethics Office also created an Ethical Leadership Training. The training is also mandatory and is aimed at senior managers of the Organization.

Finally, the Ethics Office provides an Anti-Harassment training to employees.
